E/G/G is a cookbook about egg dishes with the idea that cooking a dish is like constructing a building. Combining my experience in the kitchen and the similarities between architecture and cooking, I used rules and charts to create the look and feel for the cookbook. I also used the three-ring binder which is often used in construction project.
In recipe pages, I tried to minimize the content only keep necessary information for cooking. Also, I only show part of the dish on the page to show the idea of thinking cooking is a process that will only be finished when the readers finish their cooking. Furthermore, I add a piece of transparent paper which contain require ingredients in each recipe for convenience.
